For those that couldn't be there here is a little summary of how it went...

According to feedback Ellis' Birthday Ball was a huge success, exceeding expectations all round.  We were blessed with the weather as everyone arrived in warm sunshine.  Magicians mesmerised the crowds as they sipped pink champagne at the reception.  Everyone got lucky on the prize trees which sold out in less than an hour.  Pink balloons were sold for release in a race the next day.  Can you believe three were reported in Belgium on Sunday night and another in Holland on Thursday?

Throughout dinner, much to everyone’s surprise and delight the ‘head chef’ and ‘head waiter’ belted out opera over the main course.  Auctioneer Adger Brown did a sterling job with our top prizes, managing to raise £37,000 in the main auction.  He was followed by a 10 piece band ‘Grooveology’ who played until 2am.  For those who wanted to go on, bacon rolls and a D.J. saw the last few revellers through until dawn.

We are thrilled to report the grand total from the ball stands at £100,000!  We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of everyone both in the lead up to the event and on the night itself.  There is no doubt Ellis would have loved every minute of the party put on in her honour.  TCT and SCAT are so grateful for the funds they will receive from the foundation.  Every penny goes directly to helping youngsters just like Ellis so THANK YOU!

Thank you for your support.
