Since Ellis’ passing, we have been overwhelmed with both the support and interest shown by family, friends and the general public.

During Ellis’ illness we had tremendous support from the local hospital, with Dr Omar Ahmed and the community team headed by Jude Gazeley going above and beyond their duties. We as a family had no idea how much time and attention goes into each and every child that is unlucky enough to get sick. Jude and her team made a huge difference to our Ellis so we decided to set up her foundation to help ensure that other children have the same opportunity for care and attention.

In addition to the local support, charities such as Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) and Skeletal Cancer Action Trust (Scat) were instrumental in Ellis’ care as well as invaluable support for us.
